Oh Baby!

I helped my sister throw her dear sweet friend a baby shower yesterday. It was amazing! We had so much fun with friends and family yesterday. Such a great time to get together and celebrate a new life. My sister and Lucy have been friends since 3rd grade. What a wonderful friendship they have. I am honored to have been a part of her shower. Lucy, we can't wait to hug and kiss on your little angel.

I also think my sister has the most fancy toilet now thanks to me...ha!

Crazy Busy

Crazy is the nice way to put it. I have been covered in orders and kid stuff. The end of the school year is always busy for me. I love it! Just wish there were more hours in the day.

Now that school is out, I have all three kids home and getting into things. I Iound my 6 year old trying to shave her leg, my 4 year old cutting open a bag of chips in the pantry and my 9 year old texting people on my cell phone. That was just one day. This is going to be a long summer for them and ME.

Just wanted to pop in and share a cute picture a customer sent to me. She gave a few of these as teacher gifts and even baked cakes to go in them. VERY sweet! I love the idea of adding a cake. If I could only bake.

Boy’s Only

With my sister having a baby I have been having so much fun creating BOY things. Not only did my sister just have a baby boy but my cousin just found out she is pregnant with a boy. I am so excited! I just have to wait till she picks out a name. (Come on Crystal- pick one please)

My husband’s boss and his wife just had a baby over the weekend. A BOY! He asked me to monogram some stuff for a baby gift to send them. Mind you, I have never met this family because they live in Pittsburg and we are in the Atlanta area. I usually can just create something quick and cute, but not this time. I think because I do not know their style it’s harder for me to just do it. So I did a few things and pray they like it. Here are a few pictures of some things I have created for this baby. I saw pictures last night and he is adorable.

Stick Figures?

My daughter had her last cheer competition 2 weeks ago. It was lots of fun but glad the season is over. I made these cute buckets for the girls as a gift. They were filled with goodies.

On the other hand, my purse was stolen from right under me at the competition. NOT COOL people. We had to cancel two checking accounts, all of my credit cards (was not many) and I had to order a new drivers license. It's been such a pain b/c the bank messed up my checking account. I have not been able to spend money in two week. My husband LOVES that and I HATE that. HA HA HA

My friend is an amazing photographer and takes pictures for our cheer gym. She snapped a picture of the buckets because my camera was stolen. They took my wallet, a coach clutch, my make-up bag and a small camera and left the purse in the bathroom. I got the purse back but do not want to use it again. Just feels weird. Now I have a check card again I can go shop for a new purse and wallet.
Check out my friend's blog and web site. If you live in the Atlanta area I would suggest booking a session for family pictures. She is doing our pictures this month. I can't wait!

My sister had her baby today. Welcome Christopher “Ledger” Carlson to the world. I am in love with my little nephew. He is just as perfect as can be.

A very sweet customer of mine sent me this picture. Don't you just love it!?! The armoire is being used as a changing table. Such a great idea. Her nursery is just up my alley, lots of monograms!

Oh Baby!

My younger sister is about to have her first baby any day now. I am thrilled beyond belief. I have 3 girls and she is having a boy. FINALLY a boy I can create fun things for! The name is a secret until he is born but I can show the monogram. Here are the draperies I embroidered for her. I love the way they turned out. The valance over the baby crib is not yet completed so it's not pictured. It has his name embroidered instead of the monogram.

Now I am working on embroidering all kinds of bibs, burp cloths, blankets and onesies. Hopefully I can have most of it completed for his big arrival.

Once the embroidery is close to complete I can find some stuff to put decals on. This baby is not even here and very well loved!!! Come on Prince Carlson, your cousins want to play!

I'm Back!!!

I'm back open!
Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and New Years.
I had to close up around Christmas because my kids kept getting sick. The flu came around twice. In between a few sinus infections and colds. I was closed for about 3 weeks. We had a snow storm that closed the city (state really) for a week. IT'S been a LONG winter. I'm ready for spring!

I wanted to post a few pictures that sweet customers have sent me. I love them all and I just had to share! The mega phone is a new design I have created for my dauther who does comepeition cheer.
