Making Room for Moore

I am so excited to be working with the Moore family on a fundraiser to bring home their newest addition Miles. Miles is about a month old and currently lives in Uganda.

This is one of the sweetest families I know. They have a birth son, Max and an adopted son Raymond. These are the cutest boys ever. Words can’t express the joy I feel for this family.

I am cutting decals to decorate items they will sell at their home show next week. We came up with the cutest ornaments ever. I am not exactly sure how much they are going to sell them for yet but I know they will be very popular. Hopefully we will find other ideas to place the decals on as well. If you are interested in helping the Moore family out by purchasing an ornament please let me know. (send me your email address) I am more than happy to send one your way. I will have one on my Christmas tree this year for sure!!!

They will be selling the decals alone, ornaments, and candle holders. All of the proceeds will go to their adoption fund to bring Miles home.

Fall Decorating

I love to look at other peoples blogs to see what they have done with their homes. I am horrible at decorating but if I see an idea I can usually run with it and make my own version. Although I can never can remember what I have seen that I wanted to do when I shop for supplies unless I write it down...So yesterday I end up just doing my own thing and praying it looks ok.
Here are some things around my house I made last night.

Now that it’s not in the 90’s outside…a few cute items. I have so many ideas for projects I want to complete but how does anyone with kids find the time?

Last week we made a long trip to see my grandfather who is very sick. It was totally last minute but the doctors cleared him to be around kids till the next round of Chemo in two weeks. My aunt called at 10am and by lunch we were packed and ready to go. I hate to see him so sick but I am thankful he was able to visit with my children. (His great grandchildren) Such a blessing.
During our visit I go to see my cousins babies. (3 of my cousins have recently had babies) I embroidered these sweet bloomers before this one was born and my husband got the cutest picture while we were out. Gosh I just love these chunky legs!

BUSY is all I can say…

School started this week for two of my three girls. I have been sooo busy embroidering backpacks and lunch bags. On top of cutting decals…all I can say is IT’S CRAZY over here. I know it will be like this till January. It normally is and I have to just learn to manage my time better. Any suggestions would be great.

My good friend brought over some cute glass candy jars and wanted to put something cut on them. These are for teachers to set on their desk. I surprised her and added the polka dots and ribbon. I LOVE the way they turned out and I hope the teachers do too. Our children go to the same school so I’m excite to see what the teachers think about these cut jars. I am going to make some for my girl’s classrooms too!! How can I not?!

Okay friends, I have to go back to getting some work done while my youngest sleeps.

It's back to school time and I have been busy, busy, busy! From embroidering backpacks and lunchboxes to sticking decals to school supplies. Oh ya, and cuttting decals to ship off for online orders.

These cute "Little River Elementary" items are for a teacher's back to school lunch given by the PTA. They will be raffled off to 31 lucky teachers. Hopefully it will bring a smile to thier face. I had lots of fun making it all because these are my sorority colors. It brought back MANY memories. Boy do I miss those simple days when all I had to worry about was getting to class and what outfit to wear. Ten years later a husband and three kids- Those days are LONG gone. HA! Ha! Ha!

I’m back! My husband and I had a fabulous trip with great friends. So much fun, lots of laughs and good memories. We came home Sunday evening. It went downhill from there- and fast! An emergency dental appointment with my youngest and up late because another child is scared from a rated R horror film…(Who let’s a 5 year old watch a horror movie? Oh ya, my mom) All is calm I think. (for now)

I have been catching up on local orders so I have not been able to open the Etsy store up till today. I’m back up and running.

A great customer sent me these adorable pictures of what she has done with her decals. I just fell in love and had to blog about it. Thanks Tina for sharing with us.
